This course has been completely redesigned into a new format following updated online education standards. Enjoy shorter lectures for more effective comprehension, practice quizzes for retention, and a mandatory practice test that must be completed and passed prior to attending the in-person weekend. This is not the X-Ray course of decades past. Please read all directions and take suggestions seriously. The CCA Level II exam from the NCBOCE is a serious exam for a certification in place for public safety. The NCCA has designed a course to prepare you to pass this exam and safely carry out your job duties.
This course consists of 50-hours of NCBOCE approved CCA Level II (X-ray Certification) Education.  The registration fee for this course covers the online on-demand education and in-person 12-hour weekend.

Final Weekend Location: The in-person final weekend will be at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, NC on August 1-2 2026. Class times are Saturday, 12PM to 6PM & Sunday, 8AM to 2PM. More information will be sent to attendees closer to the date.

Accommodations: Please note: Due to this property not being associated with a hotel the NCCA does not have a room block. There are several hotels nearby and attendees are encouraged to choose one that fits best with their needs. An example of a hotel nearby is the Holiday Inn Express. 

Test Information: The test will be administered August 8-9, 2026 online by the NC Board of Chiropractic Examiners. You will need to submit your application via the NCBOCE portal, two weeks prior to the exam date, to take the exam.

Course Book: A book is required for this course. The NCCA no longer keeps these books in stock. Attendees need to purchase their book at www.acrrt.com/studyguide. Print and digital options are available.

Online Education Deadline: All online education: Must be completed by Sunday, July 26th at 11:59 pm
***Students who successfully complete the entire education course will be sent information from the NCBOCE (not the NCCA) after the in-person class to register for their test time slot.
